I just don't know what to say. So much talent, so much great coaching, so much fan support, so much effort.

For nothing. That 9th inning has pretty much sapped all the energy I have ever had for baseball. I am barely angry. I'm just ready for the Redskins game. That's how numb I am.

Apparently the biggest comeback in an elimination game in MLB history.

bottom line - they are a better team, better hitting up and down the lineup, better bullpen, more clutch performances.

Worst part is that Zimmerman made the last out.

Zimm had a great series though. Proved his worth quite well.

Gio's star is a bit dimmer after his performance in this series.

Best record in baseball and the best at giving up large leads.  6 runs, 8 runs, whatever.  No obstacle to losing is too great to surmount.

He played good enough to win today. Bullpen let us down.

I'm heart broken for Ryan Zimmerman, Ross Detwiler, and Jayson Werth. And sort of Ian Desmond.

He walked 11 batters in two games.  He was given a 6-0 lead and couldn't make it past the fifth inning.

The bullpen was also not good, though.
