Morse has been playing better lately, why not let him DH? By the way, let's go Hoos! (lacrosse)

This better be Matt Stairs last hurrah to prevent being fired.

Holy crap he sucks an unholy amount.

Nats looking to win the away leg of this derby for the first time since 2007 (that was a sweep, in fact).

Interesting that yesterday there were only 24,442 in the house last night (slightly over half of capacity) - I guess unless it's the Yankees, Red Sox or Opening Day, nobody's going to the matches at Preparation H Park at Camden Yards anymore...even the Parkway Series appears to have lost whatever lustre it once had...wonder if they'll even crack 20K today going up against the Preakness?

(Woes actually still trail the Nats slightly in average per-fixture attendance, 20,523 vs the Nats' 20,601.)

I wonder if there's a correlation between the very first pitch of a ballgame being a ball or a strike, and the home team winning.

Probably not.  But if you're up for it I'm sure you can use some IV estimators to come up with a model...

The visiting team radio perch at PHP@CY must really be close to home plate - even more than at Nats Park, one can really hear the pitched balls whoosh into the catcher's mitt.
