Again, I have to say that I'm not too surprised by this result.  The Tigers are a great team with a potent lineup.

The pitching sucked and the offense sucked.  The Tigers scored the game winning run in the first inning, lmao.  Hopefully Bacsik can give us 5 innings tomorrow with allowing 3 runs or less.  Rauch and Chief should be ready to throw at least 2 innings a piece.

Just because they are a great team it doesn't mean that they should beat us by 14 runs..  How often does a team lose by 14 runs (at home)?  Almost never.

Why not?  They have great hitters, and great hitters are supposed to prey upon weak and ineffective pitching, which is what the Nationals have.  They would've probably scored this many against one of the regular starters, too.

No chance.  After the first week or two, Hill and Bergmann were just lights out in every single start.  You could count on them every game to give you good chance to win.  They never got knocked out of a game early.

You don't know that for sure.  Like I said, I wonder what's going to happen when Hill, Bergmann, and Patterson come back and have bad starts.  I won't be surprised to see you calling for Bacsik, Speigner, and Simontacchi :)
