Free agency begins in about two weeks so we might as well have this one ready.

Regarding Landry, I hope they cut ties with his stupid ass. He seems totally more interested in being a bodybuilder than in becoming a better safety. Also, how the freak does he get so big so quickly? He wasn't that big four months ago. He must be getting help from "supplements".

Not necessarily.  He could just do nothing but drinking Amino Acids laced fluids (to get to sub 5% body fat) and drinking protein shakes 24/7 in between eating 19 steak and egg meals a day like Jay Cutler (the bodybuilder, not the crappy Bears QB) and Ronnie Coleman.  That said, I can't imagine that dude having the speed needed to be an above average safety in the NFL at that size.  Didn't this clown also have hamstring issues this past season from lifting?

He's had an Achilles injury for the past two years

If Landry is willing to take a short term incentive laden contract to prove he's healthy and capable of being the player he looked to be during his injury shortened 2010 season, then I'm all for re-signing him. If he's looking for big money, look else where as he just hasn't proven to be worth it yet.

As for his mass, I'm concerned he'll end up with David Boston type issues long term. That said, just because he's freaking huge doesn't mean he's juicing. These guys have all the time and money to workout in a way the vast majority of people can't. That doesn't mean I would have any issues with him having to be tested prior to signing and throughout his contract.

Oh and for what it's worth, I'm officially off the Matt Flynn bandwagon, not because I don't think he'll be a good to excellent qb, but because it makes way too much sense for him to go to Miami. That and the fact that I really think we need to go big or go home and draft a top qb. If that means trading Ricky Williams style to do it, so be it. I think we should consider re-signing Rexy to a short term deal again, but more importantly, make a run at Kyle Orton. Orton seems to make fewer mistakes and would be a better "place holder" than Rexy. Signing Rexy to be Orton's backup wouldn't be terrible, but there's still the fear that lil' Shanny will want to pull Orton...

Don't worry, Landry most likely won't be here next year. Hear he's going to go play with his brother in Jacksonville considering they'll offer him what we're going to. Not to mention, there's "other" things I cannot say which keeps the Redskins not interested, but I'm sure you already know what they are.

Redskins getting drilled by the NFL. They are losing $36 million in salary cap space between 2012 and 2013 because of frontloading contracts during the uncapped year. That sounds like bullcrap. The NFL should've had a freaking cap.

Snyder needs to take a lesson from Angelo's, lawyer up and sue- think punishing the skins is worth risking anti-trust exemption for roger?

I'm so glad I married into a Saints family so I've at least had a decent run with a second team during this whole Snyder-as-owner-era debacle.  Problem is that the Saints are on their way down now so I'm headed for NFL oblivion.

This franchise is the pathetic joke of the NFL.  I hate Daniel Snyder more than anyone else (including Jerry Jones).

atogwe is gone, fletcher and carriker are almost certainly gone- the nfl is a crooked league- cheat on the field and loose 1 draft pick, ignore a suggestion and spend in an uncapped year and you get torpedoed for multiple seasons

Atogwe was a bad signing. That dude and Josh Wilson are made of crystal. I've never seen defensive players limp off the field as frequently as those two after a tackle. But yeah, this seems like bullcrap. There was no salary cap so I don't get how they can get away with this crap. If more teams chose not to do it that's their choice. Dallas is also being penalized.

They should rescind the trade because they can't do the things they need to do in free agency with a penalty this large.  This is a MASSIVE penalty.

Atogwe was a bad signing- unfortunately the team now needs two starting safeties

Yeah as PC said, this is a massive hit. They were hoping to land a CB, RT and a WR. Now they likely will not be able to do that.

Yep- nice to see Shanny (the guy in charge of personel) freak something else up- if they don't improve next year he needs to go and Allen (the supposed cap expert) should be cleaning out his desk now

Horrid. So much for building through FAs.

Now we have no impact picks not money to spend in free agency for the next few years.
