Losing a home series to the Padres is REALLY embarrassing.

I don't if that's says more about the Nationals or the Padres.
it's incredibly embarrassing. We all knew this was coming too. I said this last night in the game thread:

wow. what an offensive performance by the Nats.

I think we all know what will happen tomorrow. The bats will be silenced by Chad Gaudin.

Come on O, score some runs.

I'd hate to see a complete game loss by John.

Lannan has 69 pitches through 7 innings meaning it's possible that he has around 95 pitches after 9 innings. It's possible he could pitch in the 10th inning if we go to extra innings.

Looking back on this dreadful season, it's clear that shame doesn't make this team play better so the fact that they can watch Lannan pitch a game like this, give up one run and feel no inspiration to even threaten Chad Gaudin (CHAD GAUDIN!!!) shouldn't be surprising.  >:(

Willingham is amazing. Whoever trades for him is going to get a steal.

We have him for 2 more years. It's a terrible idea to trade him

I don't care if we trade him as long as it's not for a crap package like the one the Phillies offered.

I hate that argument. 'Too close to not call strikes'.

Either its a strike, or it isn't.

They better not lift him for Ronnie Belliard or Austin Kearns. Lannan is just as good of a hitter as those two.
