Ball looks like it's free and easy coming out of Zimmer's hand. That's good to see.

Crazy rumor of Boras trying to push Mark Appel all the way to Washington at 16

Why would Boras try to push him to us? He thinks we'll pay and no one else will?

Catcher high is just stupid- best case you base an offense around a guy playin a max of 80% of games?

Nats would gladly have taken Wieters over Detwiler had he been available, but the Orioles surprised.

Buxton and Almora... neither guy SF has seen play... yet he's positive Buxton will be a bust.

Ok.

I just don't see it. He won't have the power of Adam Jones, not close. Maybe BJ Upton without the pop.

Fair enough, but I could definitely see Buxton being a 20 HR guy in the bigs. Adam Jones was thin too when he was drafted, and has continued to get bigger. He's off to a great start, but last year was his first year over 20 bombs in a season(twice had 19, though), so it's not like he's been or is expected to be a 30+ HR guy. Buxton defintiely has the speed to be much more of a factor on the bases though, to make up for some of that difference.

Already compared both Almora and Buxton to Adam Jones.

SF, where do you get an opinion like that? Have you studied his film yourself or something? Did you read someone's opinion that Buxton would bust?
