I think I sent the message when it was 3-3.    At that point it was a really good game.    I agree with the announcers though ...  Newcastle quit after awhile.   I like the one studio guy who said the NC fullbacks should pay for the 200 mile train trip for the fans because the travelling fans got screwed.

Raining like crazy in Birmingham   ....  rainin' goals too.   :)

No way QPR avoids the drop.  I wonder whether they have already started repainting all of those Air Asia planes that are currently sporting Rangers livery.

One win all season?    Liverpool is short because of illness and QPR is still down three/zip at the half.   FOX studio guys are raggin' on 'em pretty bad.

Yeah, they're bad.  Strange, as they have some pretty good players, and Harry Redknapp has certainly known success in the past.

Sidenote: QPR's Ryan Nelson used to play for DC United.

Huge LFC and MUFC game tomorrow (Sunday). I've already started drinking. I have no delusions: the odds are stacked against Brendan Rodger's young and transitioning squad, but I'll be damned if they go down without a fight and me screaming naked down the street.

At the very least I hope Luis Suarez punts one into Sir Alex Douche's teeth. Wanker.

YNWA.

2-1 MUFC over Liverpool. Damn it. I'm sure Fergie is slobbing his own knob right now.

Terrible first half for LFC. Had a little too much respect for the home side, but either Brendan Rodgers pissed on their Cheerios or Daniel Sturridge might actually work out very well, whatever the case, they came out a lot more impressive the second half. Sturridge plunked one in for his first league goal for Liverpool erasing all those bullcrapters who complained his debut goal for the club came against weak competition.

Losing to ManPOO is never a good thing, but LFC fans who have an ounce of patience and brain can see the team is showing improvements in almost everything they do, they just need to put it all together. The loss sucks, but overall I can't say I haven't enjoyed a Sunday of footy.

Nat  ...  did I hear the announcers say that all Liverpool's wins have come against lower half clubs?   I don't follow 'em like you do but I like their club.    I was surprised by the comment during the match.

I think that the only thing anyone other than Man U should be thinking about is avoiding relegation.

All I can say it hasn't been the best of years for Liverpool, but this year they have a team with a lot of new parts getting used to a new manager who is trying to bring in a new system. It is almost Washington Nationals-esque. Liverpool aren't the powerhouses they once were, but once they adjust and gain consistency there will be a rise to glory again. These things take time and sometimes growth comes painfully.

They have the tools to be an entertaining club.

It's true - their eight Premiership wins thus far this season have come against the following (numbers indicate current standing in league table):

11 West Ham United
12 Norwich
13 Fulham
14 Sunderland
15 Southampton
17 Wigan Athletic
19 Reading
20 QPR

Curious to know who D.C. United is going to take 17th in the SuperDraft tomorrow (Thursday). Overall first pick happens at noon EST.

I think I heard D.C. Spirit get the #2 pick in their draft on Friday.
