Regardless of the pitcher spot thing, why the freak does this team hate Michael Morse so damn much? Ian Desmond IN RIGHT FIELD? WTF? This is going to be fun.

Slaten pitching to the outside of plate Desmond in RF could backfire.

Why the HELL is Desmond in right field!?  Glitch on MLB game day, obviously.

Isn't it a bad sign that we have our starting SS playing RF?

Yeah, so we all wish. Bob explained it as "wanting the pitcher's spot to be the one who batted last" as to why they didn't use Morse. How about Michael Morse apparently slept with the entire front office's collection of wives/daughters? Ian Desmond in RF... When Michael Morse, who's been outstanding defensively in right, just pinch hit. Genius.

If one of our players had done the same thing selling the HBP he would've called it crafty.

I don't understand the explanation. How would putting Desmond in change things? Unless they made a double switch in putting him in.

EDIT: Even then, you're just moving the pitcher back two slots. Still don't understand.

Oh yay, Desmond is now in at Shortstop and Gonzalez is in RF! Brilliant! Instead of putting Morse in RF to begin with you dumbasses. Forgot you put in Desmond in at RF apparently? And now he's SS when we need a DP.

A question that's been nagging me - what song is that they keep playing? I keep thinking of college football, is there a college football team which plays that song?

It makes absolutely no sense. That's just what Bob came up with, grasping at straws.

Calm down and be honest with yourself: is it really going to matter?

My guess is no.
