Long way to go in this game, my friends.  I am confident we will find a way to win as long as Livan does not put us in too deep of a hole early.

And then strikes out.  That's B.S. -- it's their park, THEY made the decision to close the roof -- and we get punished for it.

Now THAT is the Jayson Werth I remember from Philadelphia!!!  Hammering doubles all over the park.

Well Myers caught that ball, so he would have been out if they decided to keep that in play.

Terrible umping.

Jageler was wondering about that (apparently the present crew has a lot of relatively young, fresh-froim-the-minors umpires - suggested that minor-league games must go on for five hours due to the tight strike zones they call.

Myers is usually either really good or really bad. Today he is really good (of course we are helping him out A LOT).

He looks like crap to me. The Nats just can't get a clutch hit like usual.

And we almost had Jorge de la Rosa anchoring the rotation and Zack Greinke instead of Jordan Zimmermann and Danny Espinosa.
