Caps were so due. Just avoid the penalties, and we're fine.

It is so unbelieveable to me how this team has transformed from the beginning of the year. I believed in Oates from the beginning, but they were so lost at the beginning and I thought (as everyone knows) that they should clean house and do a mini-rebuild. I am so happy that this team figured it out and went on a tear. We have four very solid lines that forecheck and pass well, every player has his role, and a young goaltender who has proven to play well in the playoffs. I'd like our defense to improve, but with Green, Carlson and Alzner as a "top 3" with Erskine, Oleksy and Hillen as as 4-5-6 (with Orlov coming next year), we are in good shape.

I'm very happy to eat my crow. Oates has turned this team into a good, fundamentally sound offensive team. <3 Oates

Aaron Asham, get the freak out. Carlson out of position. Bad goal to give up to their crap line.

Me too.    Always liked Oates as a player but I've really become a fan of Oates the coach (good piece in the latest SI about Ovie and his growth together).

Well hell !!!   There ya go  !!!

The Rangers have had 2 good shifts in the 3rd period and scored on both. Nice plays on both of them. Our D can be shaky and there have been more breakdowns this period than in the first two games. I hope we tie it and win it, but even if we lose, I don't think we lose game 4.

freaking Carlson pisses me off sometimes. Seems like bad things always happen when he's out there.

Can't believe we gave up 4 goals to these talentless freaks.

They were due. Saturday they hit a couple posts, missed just wide, etc. So that evens out usually. I'm not worried, we have not played well in this period but have still carried the play.

No matter what happens, it's good to see the Caps being the intimidators.

What a massive disappointment. freaking Green and Ovechkin completely pussed out on that 6-on-4. No one would do anything. So freaking passive.
