If Nook would have moved the runner over, that ground ball would have more than likely scored the run.

Lopez Ks of course and the Nats fail to score on a lead-off double.

whats the point of bunting, he was already at 2b. I have no problem lettin Nook swing. worst case scanario: he doesn't advance the runner, best case he scores schneider.

and its not like schneider is automatic on bunt attemtps. how many times have we seen defnses throw him out afterthe man ahead of him bunts. Schneider is slower than the average catcher

Nook also might have beate

Nook also might have beaten the bunt out.  The way this team is hitting so far today and the way Nook is hitting, period, we HAD to get Schneider to 3rd as early as possible.  The bunt was what most likely to do that.

God damn it...MLB.TV blacks out all Saturday games before five.  What the hell is the reasoning behind that?

Fox has the exclusive rights to games during that timeslot.  Fox originally was going to televise the Nats/Rox game but dropped the game a few weeks ago.  The Nationals could have rescheduled the game to 7PM so it could be televised but they opted to keep the game at 3:55 so it wouldn't be an inconvenience to any fans that had tickets to the game.

This is a game that I'd really like to see.  Lopez is either throwing nothing but strikes that we can't hit or he's getting some fantastic calls!
