Why is Lopez starting over Belliard? Belliard is 9/13 against Maine, Lopez is 2/13. This shouldn't be a tough choice...

There are NOISE ORDINANCES, which Air Zimmerman would certainly violate, if Belli AND Dukes and RyanZimmerman started in the same game.  There is already a FLOOD watch in effect, and the extra DROOLING could be disastrous.  Hopefully he can use a pole while watching.

Nieves is listed as the starting catcher.

Felipe knew he did it on purpose. Lannan better hit Wright or Reyes later in the game.

Nah, no need for that crap. Our guys need to be bigger than that. freak the thug crap.

I can't believe the umpire didn't issue a warning.  That's fine. That allows us to get the last laugh.  If we hit one of their guys then there will be a warning.

How are we going to make them pay for hitting our guy if we can't freaking hit!

It's pitiful. I've never understood why we can't hit Maine. He only throws 2 pitches, a low 90s fastball and a mid-to-high 80s slider.

Zimm is just awful.  Maine is going to dominate this sorry lineup.

Maine knows he has no problem getting out our hitters so he could afford to hit Felipe.

Lopez should've attempted the steal and taken out Reyes.

Nice play, Cristian!

btw, the Clippers just scored 5 runs in the top of the first against Mulvey (traded to the Twins in the Santana deal).  Balester should have no problem getting a win tonight.  8)

Our pitchers are Wright's nages.

The best player on every team owns us (Chipper, Hanley, Berkman, Wright, etc).  They are good hitters but there is no excuse for the way our pitchers roll over for them.

The Clips score 5 in the first for Balester and then he gives up a lead-off HR.

Great changeup. I think Lannan is going to have a good game.

How does his slider look tonight?  That is his key pitch, and if it is on, he will dominate.

He's just throwing fast balls down the middle and our stupid hitters are late on every single one of them.

Kearns with a lucky ground-ball hit. nice
