Tonight will be tough with JJ on the mound plus Livo has been shaky his last couple of starts let's hope he can turn things around.

By my calculations based on mind factstm, Livo is due for a CG shut out and JJ is due to give up 8 runs.

April 17, his 2nd start.  8 IP his next start and not over 7 IP in a start since then.

 It took them 14 years to figure him out?

He's going to be fine. QS for him tonight.

I'd love a win tonight to secure a series win out of the break.

Even sweeter that it's a division team and on the road.

Cow bell give-away tonight.  I wonder if Blue Oyster Cult will be the post-game Super Saturday concert.  At least it isn't the d@knee vuvuzelas again.

Nathan - the place is "Name du Jour Stadium"

He was below average at best from 06-09.  He's had a rather amazing resurgence, especially over the first 5-6 weeks of the season, but his production is starting to lag again.  It's still a plus considering everything pointed to him being very bad this year and he's been a good starter for the first half.

Well, at least he's got about the best defensive team we put out v. RHP.  If your going to pitch to contact, this is the crew to do it with.

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing. He definitely is on a sort of "tail spin" right now (like that graphic said: 5+ era in June, 4+ era in July) but he's one of the least of our worries right now. (When he's pitching we are 11-7)

Two GREAT at-bats there. We've got two men on, no outs, and JJ has already thrown 16 pitches. Be patient, Zim.

First three batters work the count and Dunn comes up and swings at the first 3 pitches.  What the hell bizzaro world did I just step into?

Probably was telling himself to not strike out... so in turn, he did just that.

Damn.  That's why he's a Cy Young candidate.  30 pitches though.  Make him work another hard inning and get to the pen in 5 or 6.

Whatever, we made JJ throw 30 pitches. That will come in handy later.
