my Hero's name is Terus IV.  He's a Mental/Hand Blast/Flight guy.

Lol, like Steam isn't sending data back to Valve. You're being naive.

Maybe so, but that doesn't change my opinion on Valve, EA, or you.  Also, ^^^non sequitir

I trust Valve.  I don't trust EA.  That's the difference.

Fine. Glad you trust them. Origin does the exact same thing as Steam, just with far fewer games. It's simply a device for them to distribute media.

It's funny, everyone was bitter and angry about Steam when it first came out. Now everyone loves it.

No problem. I don't have a mic that's reliable either... but I type pretty quickly with the controller... so once you get set up with the mic/keyboard, we can go out and cleanup Gotham/Metropolis!

Speaking of which, Steam is having a sale for Deus Ex

Human Revolution for $7.49
Invisible War for $2.49
Original GOTY for $2.49

This should be the start of the summer sales

I have all 3 but the PS3 is mainly a media box nowadays, and the Xbox got banned from Xbox Live when I had my account hacked and charged $250 in MS points.  Steam :worship:

JMad, is your PSN the same as is used to be?  I still have your old account name in my friends list.  Is DCUO on PS3 f2p like the PC version?

I use the PS3 when I am on break from University, since my brother keeps his PS3 at home. I then use steam when at my dorm/apartment, was able to build my PC for around $800 and handles games fine.

I like being able to load a game without getting the disc (Steam) but I prefer to use controllers for most games. Actually got an Xbox controller for the PC because I was so used to playing Fallout 3/NV on the PS3 with a controller. I also like the ability to buy games used/rent and sell them.

I also use Origin but only for Mass Effect 3.

no, my PSN is JMadFour.

and yeah, DCUO is F2P now.

say, whats better as a Gaming-based Social network...Raptr or Steam?

I know Steam is the best store for PC games, but how well does it work for Socializing with Gamers? I am probably going to do all my Gaming either on my PS3 or on a tablet. my current PC isn't equipped for gaming AT ALL, unless it is like Web-based or cloud gaming.

What are it's specs?  Torchlight (the original) ran on pretty much everything.  It even had a "Netbook Mode" that turned off some effect so it would run fluently on a netbook, still looked good.  TL2 is $20 on steam and you get TL1 for free with it.  Might be worth a look, you can try the TL1 demo off of steam first to see if it works.

As soon as my house doesn't sound like an airport from the blowers from SERVPRO I'll fire up my PS3 and add you.

I uninstalled raptr a while back, seems like steam does most of what it does and all my games are from steam anyway, apart from WoW and D3.

yeah but steam is 100% pc. i need something that tracks both consoles and PC.

and raptr tracks damn near everything, even flash games lol.

I dunno. i am looking at Steam, Playfire, and Raptr. i'll pick one eventually.

The only way they "track" is if you log in and enter the info, right?

Wait, how did you get banned from XBL for being hacked?  How is that your fault?  I thought you reported that to them and got the whole thing resolved.

Yeah I got much money back, but my Xbox can't log in to xbl anymore.  I wasn't bothered to ever call them back to get it allowed on again since.
