I'm embarrassed by this pitching staff.

Well, the offense tried to make it interesting. The pitching didn't.

This was a terrible exhibition of postseason baseball.  They should be embarrassed.

Okay, add Burnett to the ever-growing list of struggling pitchers.

Gio
Zimm
Stammen
Burnett

The pitching staff is total crap from top to bottom. Horrible starting pitching and the entire bullpen is a circus.

Is he really getting a curtain call up by 7 here?  I guess it's the 9 inning of a playoff game, i get it.

If they came back though it would sure be a soul crushing defeat.

At least we get a second home game in this series where we have "home field advantage."

You're kidding, right?

I mean move Harper to LF. I guess Bourn isn't as great an option as I thought.. 6+ WAR though. What am I missing?

I had some hope before this crapfest of an inning.  Not happening though.

Hopefully this ass-kicking wakes the pitching staff up.  We aren't playing the Cubs, Astros, Rockies, et al.  Only good teams left.

I am surprised you are not putting everyone on there!!

Still at peace. We get home field advantage on Wednesday. Nats are good.

Whatever.  Who gives a crap.

One and done.  You can't win with pitching like this, you just can't.

If they let a LHP pitch to Beltran the rest of the series they are insane.

If we get knocked out this round, the national media is just going to have a field day with the whole Strasburg story.  I'm not looking forward to that possibility.

We only gave up two runs yesterday.  Yes Gio was wild as all hell, but everyone else (and even him after the second inning) were pretty solid.  This just wasn't our day.  EJ will show up and be nails wednesday.  Bank on it.

The lefties in the bullpen can't get out right handed hitters.  Well, Burnett and Gonzalez couldn't today.
