A question for the forum
« Topic Start: August 02, 2006, 01:32:14 AM »
I was just curious if anyone would like to follow along in my MVP 2005 Washington Natoinals franchise. Although I am at the end of April right now, I started yesterday after the actual Nationals were in place. I only use people on the 25 man roster, but I have made some trades right now in the re-building process. Some players I could not use that are actually on the 25 man roster ie Bernie Castro because he is not in the game, so I'd replace him with the players I'd want on the team   :P. I will also take advice from the people on who to call up, who to trade for or who to just drop completely. I'm logging out for the night and will check this thread tomorrow, if there is enough interest I'd be glad to do it, and it will be mod-friendly because it will stay in the Off-Topic forum.

Goodnight.

I just picked up MVP 05 for 10 bucks and I started a franchise. I created Colton Willems and Chris Marrero along with all the big prospects in the league. First thing I did was trade Guillen for Phillip Hughes.

LOLOL I wish all GMs were like the ones in MVP 05...

I was about 100 games into a season on that game, but I have no idea where my xbox is. I still have an xbox, but its not mine. It got switched at some point. Guzman hit a 460ft HR in one game though, I remember.

Baseball Mogul 2007 is a great baseball sim, if that's what you mean.

As far as MVP 2005 goes, Colton, it would be cool if you did your Nationals franchise on here.  I would read it, and I'm sure many people on here would, as well.

I have a franchise in MVP 05, too.  Well, owner mode.  My stadium rules. :)

But I had the unrealism.  I traded Guillen for Mark Mulder.

My rotation is Mulder, Patterson, Kazmir, Lester (created him), Webb.

I am, however, in 2011.

And, I put all the rosters in myself, because I do not have the game on PC.  So, I could not get roster updates.  That was hard.

Is that PLAYING baseball sim or a MANAGING baseball sim?  I'm looking for a game that you play...not just manage a team.  Thanks.

I just started over my MVP franchise...I was mad because I had Phillip Hughes, Brandon MacCarthy, Matt Cain, Chris Marrero, Lastings Milledge, Franciso Liriano, Colton Willems, as well as some more top prospects. I was getting mad.

So I went online and got some new sliders for more pitches and walks and just finished my first game (this is all on xbox). won 8-6. Tore up John Lieber for 6 runs in 4.2 innings, but Bowie and Rauch gave up 5 runs in 1 inning. Chad came in and shut the door. Nick had 3 RBIs, Kearns had 1, Vidro had 2, and Lopez had a HR and 3 runs.

I have MLB 2K6 for Xbox 360.  I played as the Nats until 2010.  To tell you the truth, I actually liked MVP 2005 for Gamecube than MLB 2K6 for Xbox 360.  What makes me mad is that you cant play minor league baseball.

I love MVP 2005 more than 2k6 for the 360.
