Kearns starting again? :(

He's 10/29 with 2 Doubles and 4 HRs off of Perez so I guess it makes sense.

Oliver Perez has a 7.99 ERA and a 2.11 WHIP. He walks a batter an inning. No excuse not to blow him out.

I think I'll mow my lawn and pay a little more attention to the D.C. United game at 7:30pm.

Did that yesterday.  Can't justify mowing the lawn tonight.    :?

Anybody want to come over and paint DCFan-ette's room? Otherwise I may have to ban myself again and this time I really will start the job.

I would TOTALLY come over and paint.  I actually really enjoy painting.  Though, I require XM radio for the game and Radio Margaritaville.  Otherwise, no-go.

No need for XM as I get MLB audio and a barely listenable WFED.

You guys are making me miss the good ol' days of doing laundry in house. There's very little I hate more than having to drag my stuff to the laundromat  :bang:

...especially since United have been doing something the Nats haven't - winning (currently 2nd in the East and in playoff position, although of course this is a US Open Cup match rather than a league match so it won't count in the league tables).

Mystics (where I'm going tonight) are also winning (one game over .500 going into tonight's match against conference-leading Indiana) and in playoff position.

To each his own.

I lived in London for a little while and they have laundromat/pubs.  It was awesome, unless you got too drunk and left without your laundry :D  We need some of those here -- going to the laundromat would be fun then!

Hmmm...a Nats themed Laundromat...There would definately have to be (LA)cheap beer on tap and the washing machines would be used and expensive with overactive spin cycles.

  Too many of those and you'd show up at the laundromat/bar naked.

They do, but it's the whole 'having to put on clothes to lug a 23 pound bag to the laundromat' thing. ... And it has gotten that heavy because I'm a slug when it comes to the laundry. I definitely drop off and pick up though. It's worth the extra money to just grab the cleaned clothes after work.

I've learned to hand-wash anything I like though. I had a whole load returned to me pink before :spaz:
