do I try to pick him up for $1 at the end of my AL only, super deep dynasty auction?  WHIP, ERA, innings (meet my minimum) . . . I'm not hoping for wins.

I'd rather go with Bedard if you wanted an Astros pitcher.

Poor Astros fans getting back-to-back 100-loss seasons.

Up to 15 keepers on a 23 man 4x4 roto league.  Keep for 3 years, but can extend beyond that for $5 for each year you extend.  Decision on extension is before 3d year.

Pealollipop might be a better keeper than Bedard given the age, but I perahps like Bedard more for this year.

To compare, someone grabbed Milone at the end of last year's draft for $1.  He's a $13 - $16 pitcher in terms of value this year.

He had an abysmal season for them last year.

6 something ERA in AAA. But, he averaged over a K per inning, though.

Bedard sucks. Lucas Harrell is the best Astros pitcher. He's kinda their equivalent to Lannan back when we were losing 100 games a year. A decent inning eater type who is forced in to the number one role because the rest of the rotation is Phil Humber.

Well, if we're playing best pitcher, it'd be Bud Norris.

Of course, he won't be available for $1, and I doubt Harrell would either.

Forgot you were talking about fantasy baseball. As far Bud Norris goes, he will only be an Astro for a couple months more.

I wonder how many people around the country said that about us.

Oh, I freaked up.  I meant to say "back-to-back-to-back 100-loss seasons."

His peripherals certainly suggest potential for improvement, but the K/BB and H/9IP were still very underwhelming.

I wonder how many people around the country said that about us.

Heh, fair point.  I do remember some sympathy, but it was mostly a douchey chorus of: "This is why there shouldn't be baseball in D.C."
