I don't know what to spoil or not. I guess the surprise was fun so I'll spoiler this:

Who else has seen the headless horseman riding around?

Not sure if this is an exhaustive list or not but here are patch notes for the upcoming 1.2 patch:

Thanks.

*raises hand*

Followed him a ways but he didn't show any sign of letting up or stopping, so I eventually gave up

Does steam patch the game or do I need to go out and get the patches?

The bear actually unfreezes and kills him at the end of the video ;)

Oh, I didn't watch to the end. Okay, I don't feel so bad.  :) Those things are a nag to kill.

The Skyrim books can now be read on your Kindle or other ereader. If it has a good index so I can avoid spoilers, I will consider it.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's over 1500 pages...

That can't be right can it?  No way there are THAT many different ~5-10 page books in the game

Not to mention most of the "pages" barely qualify as paragraphs in a real book.

On my iPad, smallest text setting in iBooks, it's ~850 pages.

While I like the idea, smithing is already so easy to level that I think the artificial scarcity of raw materials helps balance it somewhat.  I also like the idea of mining.  In addition to the actual mines in the game, you can often find rarer ore veins in random out-of-the-way places on the world map.  The idea of discovering and making my own notes of where to find the things I need (as I'm currently doing with alchemical ingreidents) appeals to me.

I do wish smithing of arrows had been included in the game though.  I'm hoping it'll be included in one of the eventualy DLCs.

Heh, yeah.  I'm still not sure I fully understand what use that spell is supposed to be unless it's intended as an immersion thing - i.e., you turn off quest markers.

It helps for someone like me that gets easily mixed up and lose my bearings in dungeons.

True, it's quicker and less disruptive than constantly opening the map.

If I could add just crafting for arrows, I would in a heartbeat.

For now, I have just "Realistic Water Textures" medlium qaulity with the reduce splash option and "Enhanced Distance Terrain". Given my fixiation with Alchemy and Transmutation I am considering the flowers and plants mods as well.

If you want to see the difference in the water, take a look at the vidoes in this thread. It even  looks pretty sometimes, something one could not say for the default water.

The other question I keeping asking myself is, "Was it a good idea to jilt Jenessa for Lydia?". Jenessa reminded me of a goth chick before she lost all her personality and become yet another sumbissive follower.

Have you found the transmute spell?  Lets you change iron ore to silver and silver to gold.  Sadly silver and gold are only useful for making jewelry, but it's a neat little spell anyway I thought.

Also, I find it comical that eating hawk feathers cures disease.  You don't even need to make a potion, just eat the feathers

I got the transmutation spell earlier today and just finished the transmute, smelt, whatever it into jewerly. The price I could sell it for in town was lame (25) so I held onto the rings and threw a perk on the persuation skill, also added one for alchemy. Mainly up until this point I have been reserving them for destruction.

I think I was spending too freely, it is going to take awhile to buy to buy that first house.

Don't worry, it won't be long before you're hauling in so much loot that you'll have to deplete every merchant in multiple towns just to sell it all off

How on earth will I carry it all? Even with a follower, it seems like you can fill up pretty quick on swag. I almost wish I could have a couple donkeys to take along to haul the stuff after clearing a map.
