Lombo could very well be our lead off hitter next year- being this close to the majors has to count for something

This one for me is between Norris & Meyer. Meyer's upside as a top of the rotation starter is intriguing but Norris is headed for 20hrs this season w/ a .800+ OPS. Not the blowout season everyone expected but still solid production from a catch still needs his BA to come up.

Norris's improvement in throwing out runners means he can stick at catcher.  I don't care if he hits .220 if his OBP is .350+ and his OPS is > .820.  High ceiling and high minors at a young age.  Lombo's decline in his BB rate has me concerned about his ability to lead off.  I don't see him as a surer bet to stick in the majors, and his ceiling is lower.

Came down to Norris and Meyer for me. Went with Norris because his power and eye are very impressive. Defense is continually improving. Must get his batting average up a few notches but the potential to be a standout catcher is rare. Real close, but with what he's shown in the minors, I gave him the nod over Meyer. Meyer will be next though.

Meyer. #2 SP potential.

Norris needs to hit .250 before I'm convinced he can be a better than average regular.

So Norris is #6. I'll be out tonight. Anyone can post discussion for #7 if they want... Otherwise I'll post tonight.
