They check!  I once had to go thru because I was on the wrong side toget my free promo item. They let me cut thru but I was escorted the whole way!  Also you can be in the Open area but not the suites!  It can be hard to find a seat during rain delays and really hot days!
I wasn't saying to sneak into a suite.... Just the the Open "club" area...

And you cannot just walk in there, what did your ticket say?

Where is the stars and stripes club?

200 Level behind home plate.

It's not much of a club. There are some better food options up there and it is the access point to the Suite and the 200 level infield club section...

you will be able to buy opening day tickets on stubhub at a reasonable price. you could have gone to game one of the playoffs for 15 dollars on stubhub. if you dont want to do that, just pay attention to when people post the presales and stuff on here.

i dont even know why people get the partial plan. you can go to almost any game for literally 2 dollars on stubhub (maybe 5 after fees if you buy more than one ticket). that is true for here and many other teams. you can go the good games for like 10 or 15. baseball, even for good teams just has too many games and too many seats. its true for the yankees too. somebody somewhere will look to dump tickets on stubhub

you want playoff priority? f that. i had no priority and bought tickets from the nats no problem and then stubhub had the same or lower prices. the nats do not give nearly enough of a price break to make it worthwhile to buy any packages from them unless you dont care about money and want prime seats

you wont have to worry about dumping tickets or anything. just buy and go when you want on the day of the game

if you are worried about tickets getting too scarce like the caps, dont worry about it. the nats have twice the peak interest (based on record tv ratings) but more than five times thw number of regular season seats to sell

S&S club does have something going for it when it is 110 degrees out during a July day game.  I actually like the heat, but having an A/C escape right behind your seats is pretty popular.

Does it still have the original Griffith Park scoreboard from 1924?

The scoreboard was originally in the Diamond Club, they moved it to the Roosevelt Room, a terrible decision, it's now hidden away where it's hardly ever seen and the Diamond Club bar has looks like it belongs in a 70's night club.

They really need to put that somewhere that's all-access, not in some restricted area - this organisation does not do enough to mark Washington's baseball heritage. (Interesting that it was in the Diamond Club - the original literature said it was in S&S, if I recall aright - haven't been to any of those places so cannot say for sure.)

Back on topic: I've just got my plain old STH plan, for the ninth straight season (sixth straight in TBSITH), renewing on the 'Grand Slam' plan...three down, five to go.

Yeah I had partial plans for three years. Traded that in for full season tickets for DC United. Better perks better value to me. Can go to any game for less than 10 a pop.

its not about popularity. its about popularity and the quantity of seats to fill. and he might be referring to fact you can go to an overwhelming majority of nats games for less than 10$

so your saying popularity has something to do with it?
