Sorry to sneak this in, but i couldn't follow yesterday's game (awesome). Any quick recap on your thoughts of Det performance would be appreciated.

I like this lineup a lot. I really like to see AlGo in there for his defense. Aside from his errors, Desmond and AlGo are a lockdown duo defensively up the middle. You can really tell we're preparing for pitch to contact today.

If at the beginning of the season someone would have told me that the Braves, Padres, ChiSox and Rangers would be leading thier divisions on August 1st. I most likely would have laughed at them.

He got away with a lot of pitches up in the zone but the Phils didnt hit them. Walks and getting behind in the count hurt Det but the phils didn't capitalize. I think he was worn out by his last pitch. He kept us in the game so hats off to him.
