Tigers manager Jim Leyland was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Twins after home plate umpire Paul Schrieber put his hand on Magglio Ordonez's back in a seeming attempt to steer Ordonez toward the dugout after a called third strike.

Managers and players get fined and suspended if they so much as touch an ump with a pinkie finger, so understandable that they would resent the ump taking similar liberties without inhibition.
