After learning all about it last year, I am totally confused by waivers again. Can somebody explain why the Phillies would put all these players up? Or just in general.
Every team put pretty much every player up. Just so if they do pass through, they are available to be traded even after the trade deadline. Technically what just passed was the "non-waiver trade deadline."
