Chico isn't gettin the close calls. could be a long nite

If an ump wants to give wainwright a stike zone the size of Chicago so be it - but he damn well better be giving Chico that same consideration ...

We could've thrown out the runner at second on that bunt. He was still running when the throw got to first

Yeah I agree. Chico has to be a bit more accurate in the strike zone before he can expect to get those close pitches called his way.

I really don't care what an ump does as long as it's consistent for both sides - when it's not - it's just inexecusable and it frustrates me to no end ...

But wainwright can get a strike three call at the chin? ... sorry - but that does not fly with me - who cares where the other pitches are?? A strike is a strike - an umpire should take every pitch and every play individually at all times - to judge one pitch or play based on the previous pitch or play is completely unprofessional.

The way Matt is pitching, we need runs today.

Don't leave Ryan on base.  We need to score here!

Nah. HE said the same thing about Harahan last nite, and i said even without Pujols playing and the Nats went on to score 5 in one innig. I'm superstitious.
