May our Noble Jordan vanquish the Philthy horde and inter their corpses in a parking lot like this guy:

I love how a three game skid is now considered a slump.

Back in the day, it would have been a sign of improvement.

YESTERDAY WITH THE '05 OVERACHIEVERS: Nats dfop the finale of a home series against the Reds, 5-3...record now 66-61...http://espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250825120.

---

DC United got stuffed 3-nil at Montreal, a first-year expansion team...they've suddently lost their ability to win on the road, and the playoffs are far from a certainty now...second straight day of no local teams winning.

---

Also on tap for today in the NL East:

13.10 - Mets-Astros (Hefner vs Harrell)
16.10 - Dodgers-Marlins (Harang vs Buehrle)
20.00 - Giants-Braves (Lincecum vs Hudson) - ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

...also GO CARDINALS playing the Reds today - if we make it to the NLCS I really do not want to see the Nats lose home field edge to the Great American Bandbox.

They might have to relocate there if they aren't careful!

I'm not necessarily complaining, but the Braves are getting a lot of Sunday Night Baseball coverage lately.  They also get FOX games the next three Saturdays.  A lot more national TV coverage than we're getting :?

Cliff Lee has only 1 win over his last 8 starts, the win against the Nats. Hell, he's only got 2 wins all year.

He does own us though. I hope we can find a way to break through.

I believe Knight's about to take the Nats' to the woodshed on their stolen base against issue on the pre-game.

In fact Davey Johnson had a meeting this morning with the Nats relievers over their inability to hold runners on (per radio pre-match show a few minutes ago).

Knight's video showed Stras and Gio as culprits as well.

Just infiltrated enemy territory!

My family and I traveled for 2.5 hours to get here. It is a nice park and I have good seats. Cheering for the Nats win of course. I have seen a couple of nats fans here to cheer on the team.

C'mon Nats, let's go for the curly :w: !!

Are you in camera view?   Couple of shots of Nats' fans going into the park.

Citizens Bank Park is a great place to see a game, except watch out for the Phanatic, he's a molesty cretin.

I don't like to criticize the Anthem performers but they were pretty bad.
