I just want one game where we beat the pitchers instead of the pitchers beating themselves.

You gotta give Milledge credit - he knew to hit it to Uggla.

Just one? I'd like a whole string of them.

3 runs in 3 IP - that makes this, ERA-wise, Millers best game of the year.

Well, the wombat and the pimp squirrel can help give us luck, but the team needs to do SOMETHING for themselves.

I thought that was funny earlier when Don took credit for improving Redding's confidence and 'tude.

Had he left my game thread up yesterday I would've taken the blame for the loss

And now, in the #8 hole, the Marlis OBP leader at .455.  Meanwhile, Uggla hits #2.

For as big as he is, Estrada gets up and down pretty easily.

He wants that 3rd win. He's our best hope for 10+ wins this season.

The Fish are in first.

Not for long and not to worry.  They'll invert the standings and grasp the cellar.  In their first 20 games, only 6 are against teams with winning records in 2007.  Next weekend, they go 14 straight against teams with winning records in 2007, and will hit bottom and keep on digging.

I know why Loria loves Miller.  Since he can't throw strikes, no foul balls to be replaced.  He's probably saving Loria upwards of $150 - $200 a game.

I just got caught up on the thread... that was a good one.
