I've got a home plate reserved ticket for Friday.  Plan on getting there early to get a tee shirt.

Wow!  Cool!  In my season ticket 310 E1

Further update (weather now complete through end of homestand):

Saturday 1st vs Cardinals, 16.05 (Zimmermann vs Lohse) - high 94, low 74, 20% chance of rain
Sunday 2nd vs Cardinals, 13.35 (Strasburg vs Westbrook) - high 84, low 73, 30% chance of rain
Monday 3rd (Labour Day) vs Cubs, 13.05 (Detwiler vs Samardzija) - high 78, low 74, 40% chance of rain
Tuesday 4th vs Cubs, 19.05 (Jackson vs Raley) - high 86, low 73, 40% chance of rain
Wednesday 5th vs Cubs, 19.05 (Gonzalez vs Volstad) - high 87, low 71, 40% chance of rain
Thursday 6th vs Cubs, 19.05 (Zimmermann vs Germano) - high 87, low 71, 30% chance of rain
Friday 7th vs Marlins, 19.05 - high 84, low 69, 30% chance of rain
Saturday 8th vs Marlins, 13.05 - high 84, low 68, chance of rain nil
Sunday 9th vs Marlins, 13.35 - high 82, low 66, chance of rain nil

Don't like all those 30-40% chances of rain next week...hope this doesn't force any weather re-schedulings.

---

Capital Weather Gang's NatCast for today has: 'Little in the way of weather worries. Just stay as cool as possible. It'll be a warm one!' with 87-90 at first pitch, 84-91 by ninth inning, 5% chance of rain,

Going tomorrow to my first game since opening weekend in April.  It's been a very very crazy summer.

I bought section 134 tickets on stub-hub for $20, with a $45 face value.  Not a whole lot of tickets left.  I'm going to have a hard time getting used to this "winning" thing after going to 10 games a year and getting great seats for next to nothing.

Capital Weather Gang NatCast for today has 'Unless you're a fan of baking in the sun, be glad this isn't a midday game. Heat and humidity probably call for an extra beer (plus lots of water!). If there's a t'shower, it'll be isolated' with low 90's at first pitch, near 90 by 9th inning, and 20% chance of rain.

Sitting in the outfield on the first deck with my kids - likely arriving late and leaving early.

Anyone need a ticket for Monday?  You have to sit next to a screaming sunshiner who keeps score.

Capital Weather Gang's NatCast for today has 'It's a warm and muggy one at the ballpark. Scattered showers and storms are likely across the D.C. area. Not a sure bet they'll soak the stadium, but definitely have the rain gear handy' with low 80's at first pitch, mid-80's by ninth inning, 70% chance of rain.

Translation: Expect larger-than-usual proportion of Cardinals supporters in the stands while weather-wussy locals sit this one out.

...ironically, the Metro station nearest the former site of Griffith Park.

It's just past 07.30 and Capital Weather Gang still don't have their NatCast up yet...wonder if they'll even get today's match in (we'll be fightning off Isaac remnants all day).

Capital Weather Gang NatCast finally up: 'It's not a guarantee, but showers and storms are likely (60 percent chance) to develop during the game. Delays and even postponement are on the table, although there's a chance they get the game in' with 80-92 at first pitch, 79-81 by ninth inning, 60% chance of rain.

My wife and I caught all 3 games this weekend...had the kids with us yesterday and today.

We were among the "Starting 9" on Saturday...I met Ryan at 3rd and my wife met Jayson in right when the Nats took the field.

We had a truly memorable time...being there for #82 today was a big part of that.

Certainly does - we don't seem to have gotten a break from the weatherman for quite some time now - rain delays at the last four fixtures of the previous homestand, and at least a rain threat every day on the current one. The 70% chance they were predicting yesterday, even if it didn't come true, probably kept attendance down for that match.

[funny thing is though - the 34,004 we pulled Saturday was our best-ever at Nats Park for a Cardinals visit, and our third-highest-ever September attendance]
