Great job by Dimitri Young, not a good possibility of him catching that. Matt needed that first out and hopefully we can get a double play here.

All Burrell hits are pitches down the middle

There is nothing I hate worse than walking in a run... It's Pat F***ing Burrell, lob the ball down the middle of the plate! This game is over

there's 2 more runs.. embarrassing.  Matt looks awful.  He can't locate at all tonight.  Either it's a mile in the dirt or hanging over the middle.

If you go with Schneider tomorrow's day game, why not play Flores tonight?

hey, at least it's only two runs. Like sportsfan said earlier, we need 5+ runs today to have a chance. No doubt we have the ability.

Well I don't think that inning could have been any worse.  Devastating.  For us to have a any chance at all our pitching will have to shut out the Phils' offense for the rest of the game.

It's very necessary to get some 1-2-3 innings against this team. We've seen the top of the lineup too much so far

Looks like the Braves are the closest to getting Texiera.

From Ken Rosenthal:

Quote
The Braves still appear to be in front.  The names going to Texas would include Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Elvis Andrus, and one of Matt Harrison or Kyle Davies.  A very nice package, but to get three solid prospects the Rangers would have to pair Teixeira with a reliever.  The Braves have their eye on Eric Gagne, C.J. Wilson, and Ron Mahay, with the latter most likely.  It's unclear whether Gagne can be traded to the Braves without his consent.

LOL!  Howard has an awesome eye to lay off two straight pitches just off the plate, then swings at a pitch in the dirt
