Complements to the pitching matchup post.  I also should belatedly commend HoustonNat for the great Minute Maid Park markups.

Keep up the great work guys.

Are you a National League franchise in the middle of a funk?
Confidence deflated due to silent bats?
Do you need to take a team to woodshed to make you feel better about yourself?

Well, look no further than our Nationals Capital! Yes, it's extra strength "Natsenol".

Natsenols provide teams with the ego boost they need to carry on with their season by bending over and taking whatever you have to dish out.

Quiet bats? Natsenol provides you with softball pitches reminiscent of Sunday afternoon beer league games.

Need a walk? Natsenols 95% Guaranteed to put your batter on base when you need it.

And visiting ball clubs need not worry about a hostile environment. The effects of Natsenol keep those pesky opposing fans at bay, allowing your supporters to come to the ball park in droves.

New extra strength Natsenol. Putting curly W's in opposing team's records since 2005.

This is sadly the case. It would be great to unload on the floundering, demoralized Mutts to send part of NY into a suicide frenzy, but unfortunately the Nats offense will probably no show because they are just too busy these days.

The president of the Team will even make sure you receive preferential treatment while publicly dismissing his own team's supporters as irrelevant.

I can see the Natsenol commercial done with inspirational music playing as a couple horseback rides through a field with a huge expanse of mountains in the background.

Or that one scene with 2 lovers rushing towards each other in a field of flowers, arms outstretched, racing to embrace each other. But Stan will be one of the lovers and someone wearing Mets swag will be the other.

For those going tonight - along with all the other indignities we've put up with this season, our abysmal luck with the weatherman continues:

Yahoo! Weather currently predicting 'isolated thunderstorms early, mainly cloudy overnight with a few showers' and 30% chance of rain. (It's going to be worse for Tuesday's match with 60% chance of rain - thank goodness I'm going to the Mystics that evening.)

freak it. I'm going to put it on the line: if the Nats win tonight I will cut my facial hair to look like an armbar (or as close to one as I can with this scruff.)

I hope JD does awesome.  Wow! What a feeling it will be for his family.  This has been a long time coming for him. Just enjoy it.  Go Nats! Go JD! Go Bally! LOL

Me too.  I just wish his last outing had been a good one, and hope that it hasn't hurt his confidence, which would otherwise have been sky high following a string of commanding performances at 'cuse.

Mock dominated in Cuse and then took a dump on the mound yesterday in the Bigs.

Bum.
