tomterp - you're not at the game?

Nah, I was at last night's game.  Although I have season tickets in my name, I split them with brothers, cousins, parents, etc. and only get 8 of the games.

I then add other games a la carte, and end up going to somewhere between 12-15.

This is not going to be pretty.  Better close my eyes....
my guess is that when you open them, it'll be 3-1 cards
i thought it'll be pujols, but same result

Three runs should be all Carpenter needs.

tom:  hopefully I'll get to a couple next year.  The kids should be old enough to travel and I'll head down to my brother's house in Laurel, MD and catch up with y'all at "The Rob."

Who knew NJ had first-to-third speed?  On a dribbler to left, no less?

I think since Nick has lost weight and improved overall conditioning, he gets around the bases better than most folks think.

I bet if you put a timer on him from home to 2nd, he'd represent himself very well vs. his teammates.

Two questions:

1.  WHY IS FICK BUNTING?  (#8 and pitcher due up)

2.  WHY CAN'T FICK LAY DOWN A BUNT?

Fick trying to bunt.  Way to go Frank, let's try not to have a big inning.

Fick is the only credible hitter left in the next several, LET HIM SWING!

NO WAY can we let this opportunity go.  Bases loaded, nobody out and Nook strikes out.  NO DOUBLE PLAY!!!!!
