i currently have Ropa Vieja cooking in the crock pot.  Yeah I know it's not the ideal way to make it, but I had to work today.

here's the recipe, the house smells very good:

(check out the first comment, I LOL'd).  I'm going to make the black beans and rice in a minute.  Forgot to buy plantains.

Old Clothes. best name for a dish ever.

Me either but I figured it may keep AtBC out of trouble for a couple of hours.

Oh, he is so dialed up. You should see that crazy azz homemade habanero sauce he makes from scratch.

The Golden Spurtle?

Google at your own risk if you're at work, but keep in mind it's something you can do in a crockpot.

Yeah, it's the annual world porridge making championship.  Is AtBC a competitor this year? ;)

couldn't afford the entry fee, so along with this he's going to have to make pancakes for our oldest cat.

that said, if you're going to spend the morning tossing dwarves you need your energy.

To the first, its' chicken, a little butter, and some blue cheese (also salt and pepper)

To the second, yes, that's my larger pan.  The steak shot is my smaller pan.  I have no idea what they're "really" called.

Technically I think the second one is a sauce pan.  Personally I don't care.

Looks good, though maybe with a different cheese than blue cheese :spaz:

It wasn't much, just a little for flavor.

Dumpster juice flavor, but I suppose you like that sort of thing, living in a trash can and all :mg:

Saute pan if the sides are high and form a right angle with the bottom.

And if it's made out of copper it is kitchen bling.

Only if you have a Viking range and granite countertops.
