:lmao: Ok, so I guess it really is a very regional thing.  They are these cakey pastry things deep fried in lard and coated in powdered sugar.  They are kind of like a donut I guess, but totally not.  So good.  I snapped some pics of the last one before someone ate it:

:wtf: Wheaton Plaza has a bubble tea place that makes real fruit smoothies with tapioca. What a weird place for something so awesome.

Less bizzare, down the street by the Little Caesar's, there's a pho/Honduran/Peruvian/Salvadorian/Mexican place called Pho Comida Tipica. That's the Wheaton we all know and shrug about.

There's 2 other Peruvian places in the same strip mall that don't serve faux pho.

Super Chicken in Manassas is pretty good too, but Chicken and Steak in Arlington is my fav.  I used to work near there once in a while, and we'd hit it for lunch every time.  It was usually so crowded you had to eat on the hood of your car.

But how do I prepare shoes?!?! Teach me.

is there a Chick-Fil-A nearby?

Yeah but it requires me to get out of my car and walk in like a normal human being.
