I'm happy for Morse - it gives him a short to put up some numbers before hitting free agency

@acomak

Hearing in addition to getting A.J. Cole back the #nats will also get a "good" prospect and a PTBNL in the deal for Morse.

BOB: Confirmed: Michael Morse has been traded to the #Mariners in a three-way deal. The #Nats will get pitcher A.J. Cole, while the #A’s will receive catcher John Jaso.

Cole is still going to be a stud, me thinks. I like it.

Still I don't think he's enough for Morse.  Needs one more piece...

If there's another 5-12 prospect and a PTBNL I say good trade.

Definitely wouldn't write off Cole because of 8 bad starts in the California league. It's a hitters league and he dominated in Low A before that. Think he'll be at Potomac this year at 21. Nothing wrong with that.

Solid trade to add more depth to the minors, assuming that 'good' prospect, is in fact good.

No reporters seemed to think we would get much in return for morse so getting a top 100 prospect back plus more is a very good deal in my mind.

OK nvm if we got another decent prospect plus ANOTHER guy (lefty/rotation depth?) I'll be plenty satisfied.

I will miss Morse even though this trade was inevitable and I endorsed it.

+1.  Am utterly underwhelmed by this trade.  But there is hope I'll be proved wrong three or four years down the road.

The only good thing I see that came of this is Tyler Moore gets to stay with the parent club this season.

I didn't want LaRoche back...but now that it's over, I'm over that...

Mike Morse considering NOT taking the song with him, says it's something DC and him share. Classy.

Per Kilgore Tweet.

If Morse doesn't take it, I'm not sure it's right to keep it.

Another player will take it as their walkup song, due to the crowd appeal
