That's the lineup that played today, so it would be shocking if it wasn't noticeably different.

It will be broadcast on MASN.  I'm pretty sure it will be broadcast on local radio as well.

Chico Is Da Man!

I'm also really excited to see Chico start.  However, does anyone else think he looks like a 40-year-old guy?

As expected, the lineup for the the long roadtrip to Ft. Lauderdale is very different.

Today's lineup courtesy of Svrluga:

Ryan Church -- LF
Michael Restovich -- DH
Honest Abraham Nunez -- RF
Larry "On" Broadway -- 1B
Darnell McDonald -- CF

Danny Ardoin -- C

Really?? Most have them have been playing in most of the games so far. Belliard, Church, Restovich, and Broadway are the only guys with a legitimate chance of being on the initial 25-man roster. And it is possible that only one or two actually will. My bet would be 3.

The last three are strangers to me too.  Probably a reason for that.   :P

I've heard of all but the last three. But its still wierd being a fan of a team and not knowing 1/3rd of its lineup.

Chico is not ready for the big leagues just yet.  He'll probably start the season in Columbus.

He really fell apart. His first 2 innings weren't great, but by the Nats standards not bad. All his strikes this inning were right down the middle, or he wasn't close.

Were you expecting more from the cut list lineup?

and look at Broadway looking at 4 straight good pitches.. He looks like he could care less at the plate.

You're in for a VERY long season Sportsfan   :?

He sucks.
Damn our guys can't hit the side of a barn.
We don't have a pitcher to save our life.
The Nats don't want to win.
What a joke of a team this is.
That pitcher is the most pathetic baseball of all time.  Bar None.
etc. etc. etc.   ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hey guys, back from work.  Wow, there have been four Nats games on MLB.TV so far including this one.  And to think last year they didn't have a single one...

Gee, Broadway was only hitting .364 with a .462 OBP coming into this game. Sometimes, even good hitters fail at the plate. (In fact, they fail 70% of the time)

My God, there is no reason to get all worked up over the performance of non-roster invitees in a Spring training game.

Well that was a horrible error by the 2Bman.  And the Nats score, 4-1.

Church needs to start hitting or he will have a repeat of last year. Especially with Snelling batting .333.
