MASN should broadcast a few innings in HD black and white. I know, I know, there was no TV in '24, but it might look like a news reel or something.

Very close, though.

The first successful television system was around 1925 to 1927.

So David Freese, STL 3B won the NL All Star Final Vote.
We need an All Star injury to create an opening for Bryce Harper as a replacement player...

All Stars on tonight's roster:
C    Buster Posey, SF
3B    Pablo Sandoval, SF
OF    Melky Cabrera, SF
RHP    Matt Cain, SF

This weekend:
OF    Carlos Gonzalez, COL

I seem to always come close to Clint at random points. I saw him again yesterday. I was hanging on a wall after the game, waiting for my friends to use the bathroom. I saw him casually walking by. I've always disliked him since RFK and I want to say something but I can never think of something. I'm not going to say anything negative but I also don't want to look like a weirdo by saying "HI CLINT!" as a 22 year old.

I don't mean I want to heckle the guy. Maybe like a "hey, good job" and see how he reacts. I've disliked him because I always thought he came off smug. I wanted to see if I was right or wrong and if I was hating for no reason

That's a good line to open up with.   I used to say to announcers (Bob Prince as an example) "Thanks, well done."    I was amazed at how much he appreciated that and seemed genuinely a nice guy.   However, I heard he could be a real prick after a few adult beverages.

Ran into Ray Knight (almost literally) on the concourse and I shook his hand and said "How are you, Ray. I'm a big fan." He was extremely nice and seemed appreciative but didn't slow down.:~)

Where are you sitting?

I'm currently hanging in the team shop.  Wearing my 1924 throwback shirsey, blank on the front and back.

Yeah. I could see Ray Knight being really receptive. He always seemed like a cool dude.

Really nice guy is James Brown (CBS).   "Ran into" him at Dulles.
