Right. I took it real easy on the backroads into Vienna - the car thermometer read 32 degrees and it was misting steadily, but it must have been just a tick above as I hit no ice from this morning's precip.

I did see one car spun off the road but it was on a patch of ice from earlier in the weekend.

A half degree colder this morning and I think it would have been a bad one.

Yup, nothing icy on my drive in. It was 34-36 degrees and drizzling. A little more traffic than I was hoping for but made it to work a little after 8, not terrible.

Well by 9 everything was supposed to be better. Found a parking spot in Vienna. On my way to work. Now if we can stop playing musical trains (this train is out of service), ill be fine!

It was snowing all day here, but still too warm to stick to the roads, but I DID have to brush my car off before leaving for work

It was snowing (not sticking) out here once I got away from the city. It was hazardous, but only because of moronic drivers.

At least OPM is spacing out the commute rush this year, unlike last year with the 3pm rush and everyone sleeping in their cars on GW. Hopefully they do the same thing when it actually snows.

Unscheduled leave was the only option. I found roads to be crammed with people driving 20 miles an hour because of tiny testicle disease.

Based on the potential for up to a half an inch of snow today in areas south of the city, the Feds have just announced that the liberal leave policy will be in effect for Tuesday.
