For those going today: Yahoo! Weather has 'Mostly cloudy early, then sunshine for the afternoon. Very warm. High 86F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.'

...and no scheduled Metro track work.

Love the early start to the thread.    Seems the WNFF Nation is a little more upbeat as well.   All's is good when the Nats are winning.

PS   Chelsea and the Spurs at 1 PM  (Eastern)  :)

Didn't hammonds ruin the losing streak last time?  Who's brilliant idea was this?

this is the game i'm most worried about - hopefully we can work up Cueto's pitch count and stay patient at the plate.  I'm looking forward to another 1-1 game in the 7th and a battle of the bullpens.

Hammonds - the other thread is locked or I would have posted this there, but to answer your question what do the following three guys have in common - Dwight Gooden, D-Train, Edwin Jackson.

Pay attention - I said the crowd was quite diverse yesterday, something that was really great to see.  That Edwin Jackson made such an impression was a really good thing.  Read between the lines and you'll see what I'm saying.
