Bernadina?

All I'm saying is the guy is putting up good numbers, not implying anything.

wow this kid keeps on killing the ball.

the game is still going on but he is 2-for-3, with his third homer (in 8 total games @ AA level) batting .438 with 7 rbis.  The funny thing is, he's a power hitter and his walk/strikeout ratio really isn't that bad (28 walks/52 strikeouts between A-Potomac and AA-Harrisburg).

I have been on to Davis all season long, but one thing that worries me about him is his fielding capabilities (this season 14 errors in 55 games at Potomac) and I see him as more of an American League player (the DH spot).  Although, with the lack of bats on the team currently I think that he may have a chance to crack the lineup this season, especially if Zimmerman eventually calls it quits for the remainder of the year.  He also has some experience in the corners of the outfield and second base.  The numbers that are impressing me the most for him this season are his RC/G and OPS.  His RC/G at Potomac was 8.72 and at Harrisburg it is currently sitting at 13.25.  His OPS at single A was 1.011 and at AA is is 1.096.  Both are very impressive, even if they are at the minor league level.

Boom he's our second baseman.  That is until Stephen King is ready to be called up!

Leonard Davis continues to dominate.  2-for-4, double and played LF tonight.  I bet he would've made contact with runners on 1st and third for the Nats tonight.  WMP couldn't.  Twice.

Sweet. I can't believe how far he has come in just 1 year.

That is my favorite part about prospects.  Sometimes you get a guy that just suddenly has it all clicking for him one year and can maintain it all the way to the big leagues.  I always get excited when one of the young guys has a great season like Davis or Rhinehart, but the true test will be if he continues it and THAT would be something special.

Gotta love the guy!  Hopefully he gets a shot.  He's just batting great numbers now.  He has also brought that error count to ZERO over his last ten.  I like him out in the outfield. Good luck Leo! DP is pulling for you!
