I'm annoyed off!

You'd think coming back to tie from a 5-0 deficit would make me happy but what it points out is how terrible our starting pitching is!  >:(

The offense has to score runs at a herculean pace, just to stay even and the bullpen has to be close to perfect.  All the starting pitchers are doing is picking up a paycheck.

Why can't they be average!  Why is average so unattainable!   >:(

Would you be happier if the Nats were getting their booties kicked 10-0 right now? JEEZ!!

I wouldn't think that. You're always pissed, dude.

Not really.  Only when necessary.

I'd be happier if the starting pitching wasn't so terrible and everyone else didn't have to pull their own weight plus that of the starting pitchers.

Where is the starting pitchers' shame?

PC is right. It is unreal that we keep winning games despite getting terrible starting pitching.

Just imagine how dominant we would be if we had average pitching. These guys have to do better.

You guys need to lay off. These are rookies. Stammen and Martin are not top prospects. Starting 4 rookies and a 2nd year guy is not going to get you to the Series.

come on bats, now is not the time to stop scoring. our bullpen won't hold them scoreless forever.

no it won't which is why the experience they are getting right now should be invaluable. you can't use the youth excuse forever. I want to see progress and them getting better but right now we are not seeing that.

I want to get better fast. These guys need to ship up or ship out. Only the creme of the crop makes next year's rotation.

Yanno?  personally I don't give a rat's patooty if they win the next 3 or 4 games by 10-9...as long as the W is on OUR SIDE.

WIN...THEN get good.

nice K. I don't like the way Bob and Rob are talking. it's like they were told by Kasten and the Lerners to get the fan base softened up for the scenario where they do not sign SS.  :|

You know, the more I listen to Dibs I think that the world won't end if we don't sign Strasburg. He makes sense.

Same here. I'm just happy with a win...period. I don't care if it's 15-14 or 3-1. It's better than a loss, which is something we've all seen too much of.

Same here. The world won't end. I want him to sign, but I just think they're asking for way too much. Dibs was right on with his comments. Boras is trying to break the bank with Strasburg.

I've said it before...and I'll say it again.  Offer Strasberg a $20 million contract with $12 million signing bonus.  If they turn that down for more $$$$ then screw 'em..we move on.

The world won't end but angry fans will likely burn the stadium to the ground and season ticket sales will plummet like the stock market.

Riggleman over-substitutes with the bullpen especially when we're getting nothing from the starters.
