Seriously, Flores doesn't get one start? Riggleman is a dick.

i really dont understand why he would call him up , hes not going to get PT with ramos and pudge, so why not call up shark or detwiler or somthing thats a need. dumb decison by Riggs or who ever made that call.

I'm hoping he starts tomorrow since Pudge and Ramos will have played today...

Doubt it though. Such an unnecessary call up.

I think we can do this. Zimmermann can throw 6 solid innings and Bally can strike out a side.

Also, we have a 4-game winning streak and we're 8-3 over the last 11.

It sucks because first off you have a bench spot that you aren't using, and secondly, he's coming back after a long injury, he needs playing time.  He wasn't going to get regular playing time here with Pudge and Ramos, so it was a boneheaded move to call him up unless there was an impending trade.

Balester, Broderick, and Flores are wastes of roster spots if he won't use them. We are playing with a 22 man roster.

Yeah, I would expect the Cards' to beat around JZ and for them to get plenty of garbage time innings.

If anyone is interested, I'm giving some decent play by play of the Capitals game over at http://wcff.freesmfhosting.com/index.php/topic,12.0.html so that you don't have to flip back and forth. Watching Nats on MLB.tv and the Caps game on Versus.

I dont think J-Zimm will get beat THAT bad, from what we saw with him against the Phillies I'd say that I was more concerned about Lannan's game the Zimmermann's.

Does Werth read scouting reports? Garcia throws a change-up, might want to take notice.
