Free gameday audio

You can get MLB.com audio free. You only have to sign up for 4 free issues of Sports Illustrated. You have to give them a credit card. The only catch is that they will bill you if you fail to cancel during your trial period.

you can cancel at sicustomerservice.com

the only problem i see is that i have had SI before and when i try to cancel they show that my subscription expired. i guess this new one hasnt shown up yet. just write yourself a post-it note to remind yourself.

I cant aimlesly stare at the pitch-dots anymore.

Yeah the free gameday audio w/ trial SI signup has been offered all season, I got mine in May.  Unfortunately the audio is usually one whole pitch/play behind gameday, so you know what's going to happen before you hear it anyway.  Still, it's nice to be able to hear Charlie and Dave's comments and descriptions, the crack of the bats, and the sound of the crowds :D

Unless you live out of town Lets just hope that when the current radio deal expires ownership gets a real radio deal and we all get it for free.  I wouldnt give mlb even 8 bucks since they are responsible for the lousy radio deal we have now.

I subscribed to MLB_TV and received no blackout all year.  Needless to say I was happily surprised and I'm giving Comcast until next season to get their act together.  If not, then I guess I'll become a DirectTV customer.   :?
