You know that gif really only needs to be about 6 to 8 frames. People are so wasteful. (not directed at you, just musing)
Another thought - why don't modern browsers treat gifs like videos and load only the first frame and allow you to click-to-play?
Do we have members on dial-up? Why are people gun-shy about .gifs around here?
