Thanks.   I've been out of town and hadn't heard any word on Dibs' "vacation".

Mike MacDougal looks more like a community college dropout than a Wake Forest alumnus.

they should just take every pitch. MacDougal would walk everyone.

Any more word on Dibble?
According to Ladson, he won't be in the booth tomorrow either.  They say he's not been fired or anything though.  That being said, I think the writing's on the wall for Dibbs' affiliation with anything related to the Nats.

He may be done with the Nats.
I hope you're wrong. He's a billion times better than Don Sutton or Ron Darling

He's owning them right now. That sinker is ridiculous. But you are right, it doesn't stay in the zone.

But Knight is significantly better than Dibbs and someone like Gary Carter would be a billion times better than either of them.

He chose free agency over Syracuse and St. Louis signed him.

That hustle by Nyger was infused into the guys by Olsen's reaction to the bad call on Desmond. He cares and it pumped everyone else up!

Did you see what he was saying after the zoomed in on him following the catch?  He was acting real pissed, and said "that was some darn bullcrap...."

What's the fascination with Carter?  Because he played for Montreal?

True.

How did Mac end up in St. Louis?

They needed someone to sponsor Big MacLand at the new Busch Stadium.

Are you kidding?  Ron Darling is tremendous, Dibble cannot even hope to be on Darling's level.

Are we sure Knight even wants that job? I have no idea of his personal situation but it might be possible that he doesn't want to be away from home for 81 games. Doing the pre and post game show allows him to be with family.

He was our announcer in '05 and he sounded like a big dummy.

Darling sucked.  He was boring, and he trashed the Nats after leaving.  Screw him.

He sounded pretty decent when he was in the booth with Carpenter and Dibble. But I wonder how long that would last.

If I was married to Nancy Lopez, I'd never leave home (sorry Ray).

Well I wasn't a Nats fan back then so I never heard him, but I've heard him on the Mets games and their whole announcing trio is outstanding, really my favorite to listen to in baseball.
