Which one of these three managers in your opinion at years end will have done the best job?

Manager        Team                     Record     Standing
Manny Acta    Cleveland Indians    58-56      2nd place AL Central
Ron Roenicke Milwaukee Brewers   67-50      1st place NL Central
Kirk Gibson    Arizona D'backs       64-53      1st place NL West

Gibby.  Not even really that close, IMO.  Doesn't have half the pitching staff or sticks RR has and MA and his Indians are holding on for dear life at this point.

If one of Acta or Gibson wins  their division, then he's the one who deserves it.

The Indians are making a bit of a charge, and they are doing it without Choo or Sizemore.  Their rotation was a sham until Ubaldo showed up.  Acta also was hurt by his GM playing games with his roster and keeping Kipnis and Chisenhall down too long.  He's gotten nice development out of Asdrubal and Masterson, a decent bounce back out of Pronk, but Carlos Santana has taken a step back offensively, and his outfield has been smoke and mirrors.  He's also managed his bullpen quite effectively, including using his better relievers earlier in the ball game to keep games close or to deliver comfrotable enough leads to Chris Perez.  He's done a terrific job.

The brewers were built to compete this year. I'd go with Acta if he can take his division

Well, it is a league by league choice for the actual awards.  For Acta, I think his biggest competition might be Scioscia.  He's won it twice, as recently as 2009, but this might be his best year.  He does not have the horses that Francona, Girardi, Washington, or Leyland have.  He more or less has two awesome starters and a lot of huh?  Kendrick, Aybar (who is a good offensive player), but the rest is not spectacular.  Trumbo has homers but does nothing else, Abreu is good but has stepped back, Wells and Hunter have had down years, etc...

Which team has outperformed its PECOTA projections by the most?

Maybe Davey Johnson should be in the mix.
