I don't think Blanco was ever actually going to swing.

Exactly, people forget how good he is stupid a team we are, giving away perfectly good baserunners by getting caught stealing, having catchers try to steal, etc.

Fixed.

Is the owner such a chicken you know what that he had to dig in the back of his closet for a Nats AND Braves opening day cap? Couldn't wear just a piece of Nats gear and let the Braves think the *owner* of the team is rooting for the Nats only. Then the Braves fans might not invade Nats Park and give you their money. I dunno, searching for that cap in particular to wear without a single piece of Nats only gear is bull**** from the owner. Maybe I'm still just pissed off from this weekend, but that's low in my opinion.

I'm feelin' some animosity.

I don't blame Pudge/Riggs.

Zimmerman has to make contact on a hit and run.

I do question Rob's claim that even on good contact, Blanco can only hit it 150 feet.

E Hinske struck out swinging.
B McCann struck out swinging.

After 5 IP:

Maybe, but it's been two years since that game. How many pieces of merchandise have ever been created with both the Nationals and the Braves on it in equal measure. Some serious effort had to be found to find a two year old cap that favors both teams equally. Why wouldn't the owner wear just a curly W cap instead of going to all that trouble to look like he could as easily be a Braves fan as a Nats fan?

The ball was 2 feet off the plate.  When you call stupid ass crap like that, most of the probable outcomes are detrimental.

ML should have had a curly W on ... minimum.

Difference is, he'll come back out for the 7th at 100+ pitches.
