I had an electrician in my attic the time who was (justifiably) scarred crapless afterwards. I also tragically lost a bottle of 15 year old Macallan in the quake

i laughed too, but now reports are coming in of actual injuries, they just showed part of a collapsed building in baltimore.

I was driving on the Beltway when the quake occurred and I didn't notice a thing. First I learned of it was when I got back home and had text messages from my wife and brother.

I have old "statues" of Ted Williams and Stan Musial in my "study". I just checked and Ted fell off the shelf. I can't find Ted's bat. Oh the humanity !!!

My whole life, never been in an earthquake. Now two in one year! (The Maryland one a few months ago that was around 5:00am.)

Boy, did my building shake. Very spooky.
