Bert Blyleven surrendered the most home runs in MLB history. Mitch Williams stated that you have to play a long time to give up a lot of home runs to which Blyleven replied " I gave up 96 in two years, so it really didn't take that long". Bert should have been in years ago.BTW he mentioned Baseball Analysts several times, so you may want to check out their site.http://baseballanalysts.com
Jamie Moyer actually surrendered the most HR in MLB history.
Is Blyleven the first HOF born in Europe?Going to the HOF website, there apparently are execs and coaches from england and germany, but I did not see a player.
Harry Wright played on the original Cincinnati Reds team, but I think he's in as an exec or manager.
Well, that's like how Favre's thrown the most picks but he'll be a first ballot HOFer unless we find out that he roided or killed someone.
Or is jailed on some sex offense. But that is impossible.
When did anything jail get in the way of the NFL?
I love that the 'old school' baseball guys are all annoyed at the 'internet geeks' for supporting Blyleven. I'm not sure I have a dog in that fight, I just loved watching Peter Gammons turn red talking about internet geeks on the MLB channel.
