Not the worst loss of the season, but definitely the ugliest.

Based on the overall circumstances, this could very well overtake the 9-0 lead lost to the Braves as the worst game.  A performance like this shouldn't be possible at this point of the season for a team preparing for the playoffs.

I fell asleep and this is what happens!

Don't worry. The Nats have been asleep all game.

What the hell happened in that seventh inning?  I wasn't able to listen.

It's been a while since I can remember any team in any sport being so yo yo in their play.

All games used to be day games.  Wasn't a problem.

Great time for Burnett to work out his kinks.

I figured this would be an ugly loss but I thought it would be because of Wang. Wrong.

The entire team has stunk today. What an embarrassment. Do they not realize that the division is still very much up in the air and that we still have to face Philly 6 times?

Nah

Your rationale?

There have been so many mistakes/misplays/bad play in this game and the calendar impacts this.  In May, there would be no doubt that the Braves game was worse but there are so few games left and this is the performance they come up with.

I'm going to keep my eye around MLB and see if there's  another, worse performance from a team contending for a playoff spot, now.  I'll bet there won't be one.

The A's loss was pretty bad the other night.  To give up a tying home run to Ibanez and lose on an error is pretty bad.  I think they were up four in the bottom of the ninth.

Too bad.  I didn't think the Nats would win today, but I didn't think they would lose like that...

It seems the Nats players thought they would lose as well (with CMW starting) and decided to take the day off...

Should have pitched Stras in the double header, he had one game left in the originally stated plan, that would have prevented the need for Wang to start.

I thought the bullpen/defense/offense were a bigger problem today than Wang.

Nats 3-6 over last 9 games. Horrible time to go ice cold.

Braves get Mets/Marlins at home this week. We have to face the Phillies and Cardinals on the road. This could be bad, really bad.
