Riggleman total FAILure

going to the well once too many times. Wil just hit a sac fly last time up. Rig cost us a run.

Crap.  Because of his recent slump, I benched Willingham on my fantasy team, even though he's hitting .500 against Zamsucko.

Hammer Hommer.

Nationals 3
Cubs      1

:worship: DUKES :az: drives one into the LF corner , scoring Belliard.   :pimp:

Dukes out on ANOTHER SUICIDE SQUEEZE?

Bad call on the suicide squeeze. Not the right situation.

That wasn't a good call on the squeeze. Nieves just has to make contact and Dukes probably would've scored. But come on, your in the majors, atleast make contact on a freaking bunt.

It would've helped if Nieves had made contact.

Forgot: Congrats to the Hammer on number 20. Impressive season after the early-season dis and lack of playing time.

What is the point of another suicide squeeze there? How often does it actually work? 33% so far for the Nats.

That directly cost us a run. Wil just hit a freaking fly ball earlier in the same situation and he just hit another fly ball there after the out.

I could understand bunting with Morgan but he's about the only one on the team I would do it with.

He's trying to spark the offense. It doesn't always work to your advantage. The bottom of the lineup isn't producing lately.

Only because bums like Gonzalez and Nieves couldn't freaking execute.

Nieves was 9 for his last 25 (.360) prior to that AB. had just hit a sac fly a few innings prior.

Riggleman does not know what he is doing. overmanaging at it's finest.

I'm not absolving Nieves of the crappy bunt but I do agree with SF that Nieves should've been given a shot to swing.

Riggleman should have known that before he called for the suicide bunts. You don't bunt with guys who can't execute.

Nieves would have hit a medium range fly ball for an easy run.

I'm surprised Dunn didn't make the play, he's picked several like it before, but the throw was pretty wide too.  Not sure how they determine the call there.
